This is where you cease to be a pleaser of man and become a servant of Jesus Christ. These teachings and doctrines are what the Apostles of Jesus Christ taught, whom were eyewitnesses of the majesty of Jesus Christ. They heard him, touched him, smelled him, and ate with him. They were his disciples, as you and I are and should be.
The true scriptures declare: There is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism! Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
Most churches today do not have this right. I personally attended a United Pentecostal Church for nearly 18 years and they just had the One Baptism, not the correct one Lord nor one Faith. Now I know, and you will know as well if you continue reading with us.
Briefly, the one Lord is Jesus Christ and him alone. He is God manifest in the flesh, 1 Tim. 3:16. He is the image of the invisible God, Col. 1:15. He is the ONLY true God, 1 John 5:20.
Jesus Christ is the God of the Old Testament, just that his name was not revealed until Gabriel the Angel declared it unto a virgin girl Mary. Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
The one Faith is the Apostles’ Doctrine. What did the Apostles teach and do? What did Jesus Christ teach and do? This is the basis of the body of doctrines that we are to earnestly contend for.
Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
The one Baptism, is the mode whereby we are to be baptized. We are to be completely immersed in water with the name of Jesus Christ called over us after we have believed, and that by a true man of God, ordained, and one that believes in the one Lord and lives and believes the one Faith.
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I encourage you friend, new believer, not so new believer to join us on this voyage to discover new lands of truth of what the Apostles and Jesus Christ taught. To endure the good fight of faith, in which will take all of your will. And to receive an inheritance incorruptible and that will not fade away reserved in heaven for you.
You will be kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation receiving the promise of everlasting life, which will be revealed at the last time. 1 Pet. 1:5.
You are not alone; you will be honored with the Chosen ones, The Elect of God, even the Israel of God. Gal 6:16.
